Chardo Disco
The integration of flor into our wines is exciting for us, as the oxidation and tension it brings really ignite our passion. This white veil, like a dream above the wine, protects it. It's a perfect balance between the tension of northern Chardonnay and the oxidative character typical of un-topped-up wines. We can't wait for you to taste it!
Vintage: 2024
Grapes: 100% Chardonnay.
Planting: Chardonnay (2019).
Winemaking: Dancing Chardonnay harvests to the rhythm of Disco. One-third of the harvest is direct press with topping up. Two-thirds underwent 4 days of skin maceration before aging in demi-muid, under flor, without topping up.
No added sulfites.
Aging: 7 months in 500L demi-muid.
