HEATING/AIR CONDITIONING

The heat pump works for both air conditioning and heating. On the mode button, you can choose what you want. Use the "sun" option if you want to warm up, and leave the thermostat at 19 degrees Celsius. If, on the other hand, you want to cool down, the "snowflake" option will please you. You can set the thermostat down to 21 degrees.

GAS OVEN

This is a propane gas oven, which is why it can sometimes smell slightly like rotten eggs (ethanethiol). If the smell really persists, please come see us. If there were a real problem, a shrill bell would ring in the house; it's a detector designed for this purpose. For the burners, you must hold the knob down on the "LITE" function until the flame appears, then you can choose your desired setting.

KEEP THE PLACE CLEAN

In the entrance closet, you'll find everything you need (brooms, vacuum cleaner, mop) to keep the place clean. There are also supplies for cleaning surfaces and bathrooms. If cushions or blankets have been stained or soiled, please remove them and make a small pile of dirty laundry. INSIDE, PLEASE REMOVE YOUR SHOES.

POOL AND SPA

Access to the pool area between 10 AM and 6:30 PM.

Children must always be accompanied by an adult. We are not responsible if an accident occurs. We ask you to be careful and respectful with the pool cover. Please note that this is a common area, a place where we SHARE the space.

Please enter the spa with clean feet, so wearing sandals or shoes is recommended when heading to the spa. The spa cover is attached; if there are two of you, you can simply fold the left side over to the right side, which will allow you to reach the controls. If there are 4 of you or if you simply wish to remove the cover completely, please unclip the fasteners and fold it completely to the right; the system will keep it out of the water. Once in the spa, a control is located on your left. PLEASE do not touch the spa temperature, but only the "JETS" button which will open or close the jets. The cycle lasts approximately 20 minutes; you can also use the "LIGHT" button which will turn the lights on and off. When leaving, please replace the spa cover and reattach the fasteners properly.

THE ANIMALS

We love our little (big) animals. They work very hard for us, which is why we need to let them rest from time to time. We'd be happy to show you their daily lives if you're interested.

Our beautiful hens are very gentle, but we must remain kind and respectful. When you collect eggs, do so gently, and if a hen is brooding, do not disturb her. The roosters are a bit like their security guards; they watch over them and lead them back to the coop once the sun sets. Be careful.

The pigs love your table scraps (vegetables); they are as gentle as can be. Be careful with the electric fence, and we also ask you not to enter the enclosure.

ACCESS AND KEYS

You have a patio area behind the small barn to your right as you exit; feel free to enjoy this space to the fullest, it's your spot! The charcoal BBQ is functional (it's in the barn); if it's possible to clean it thoroughly after each use, you would be exceptional guests. We'll leave you two keys; if it's possible to leave them on the island at the end of your stay, that would be great. If, due to carelessness or pure bad luck, you lose these keys, we will ask for $20 per lost key (it's not about the money, it's just to encourage care) :). We are in a calm, peaceful, quite quiet municipality, let's say. However, like everywhere else, there can be theft and vandalism, so we advise you to lock your car doors and not leave anything in front of the building. We are not responsible for any theft and vandalism you may unfortunately experience. If, by misfortune, you break something, we will have to charge you for it.

WATER AND SEPTIC TANK

The water you consume comes from an artesian well. It's delicious, but it may have a sulfur smell; aerating it helps a lot. We ask you not to put hygienic products in the toilets; our septic tank doesn't like that.

PRODUCTS FOR SALE

We have some farm products available for you (this is where you can choose what you take). Some products must be ordered directly through us (the wine). We ask you, before your departure, to inform us of what you have taken, so that we can bill you accordingly. Enjoy! Eating and drinking such local food is rare and above all delicious!

DEPARTURE

• Scheduled before 11 AM
• Remove the sheets from used beds (only sheets, not duvet covers)
• Make a pile of dirty laundry with towels and dishcloths.
• Take out everything that belongs to you from the refrigerator and freezer and clean them.
• Wash your dishes and start the dishwasher.
• Empty compost, recycling, and trash into the bins provided for this purpose in the barn to the left of the house.
• Put items back where they were upon your arrival.
• Leave the doors unlocked.
• Confirm with us before your departure regarding any purchased products.
